    Collection 11954 was collected by H.J. Beker, M.L. Beker on 12th August 2007 in Adventdalen, SVALBARD (78.1848°N, 16.3139°E, altitude approximately 75 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra pastureland with a substrate of acidic soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Cortina present: yes.

    Pileus: 21–22 mm diameter; shape umbonate broadly; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre fuscous; and colour at margin dark pinkish buff; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 34; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 13–14 x 5 {median} x 5 {basal} mm; stipe Q 2.6–2.8; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 1.7; smell raphanoid strongly; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: yellowish brown.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.
