    Collection 17268 was collected by S. Gamiet, V. Sterenberg (SG-269) on 15th September 2017 in Yellowknife, Ingraham Trail, Prelude West, Northwest Territories, CANADA (approx. 62.5773°N, 114.0541°W, altitude approximately 185 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Salicaceae (genus Salix) and Betulaceae (genus Betula) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland with a substrate of sandy soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
