    Collection 16967 was collected by L. Davies, H.J. Beker on 10th September 2017 in M28, Merriweather, Michigan, UNITED STATES (46.5743°N, 89.6365°W, altitude approximately 435 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Populus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as garden with a substrate of grassy, mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 31–37 mm diameter; shape umbonate strongly; margin characters crenulate, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 60; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 35–37 x 7–9 {median} x 8–12 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.1–5.1; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 5.1; smell raphanoid weakly; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.
