    Collection 12454 was collected by E. Horak, det: H.J. Beker on 6th August 2008 in Beartooth Site 6: Wyoming Creek, Wyoming, UNITED STATES (44.9871°N, 109.4111°W, altitude approximately 3175 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as alpine meadow with a substrate of acidic, boggy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 15–29 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters crenulate; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting not recorded; hygrophanous yes; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre fawn; and colour at margin greyish buff, dark pinkish buff; with remains of universal veil not recorded.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 3 mm; number of complete lamellae 38; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 17–37 x 3–5 {median} x 3–5 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.7–8.3; base cylindrical; floccosity pruinose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 8.9; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.
