    Collection 11934 was collected by H.J. Beker on 9th August 2007 in Longyearbyen, SVALBARD (78.2113°N, 15.6216°E, altitude approximately 55 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 10 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin greyish buff; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment adnate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 26; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 21 x 3 {median} x 3 {basal} mm; stipe Q 7.0; base cylindrical; floccosity pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 14.7; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Basidia: 30.6–43.4 x 8.0–9.3 μm; ave. Q = 4.3; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape capitate-stipitate, gently clavate, clavate-stipitate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose; special features septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.77; A/B = 1.69; B/M = 1.08.
