Collection 12189 (herbarium acc. no. C-F-119741) is Hebeloma aurantioumbrinum.

    Collection 12189 was collected by T. Borgen (06.091), det: J. Vesterholt on 5th August 2006 in Zackenberg, Teltdammen, N, GREENLAND (approx. 74.5°N, 21°W, altitude approximately 30 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic, mesic grassland with a substrate of grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 15–20 mm diameter; shape convex, umbonate broadly; margin characters not recorded; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting not recorded; hygrophanous yes; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre dark greyish buff; and colour at margin dark greyish buff; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment not recorded; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 36; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 18–24 x 3–4 {median} x 3–4 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.1–6.0; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose, floccose weak; rooting no; mycelial chords not recorded.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base not recorded; slenderness measure 6.7; smell raphanoid weakly; taste raphanoid weakly.
