    Collection 8816 was collected by D. Ghyselinck, det: H.J. Beker on 13th September 2003 in Bois de Lauzelles, Ottignies, Brabant-Wallonia, BELGIUM (approx. 50.6784°N, 4.5999°E, altitude approximately 110 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Betulaceae (genera Alnus and Betula) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of boggy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
