    Collection 17378 was collected by C. Lavorato (010930.09), det: E. Grilli (010930.01) on 30th September 2001 in C/da Calamia, S. Demetrio Corone (CS), Calabria, ITALY (39.5483°N, 16.3713°E, altitude approximately 810 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Ericaceae (genus Arbutus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous garden with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
