Collection 13527 was collected by H.J. Beker on 10th September 2010 in Foret Domaniale de Boulogne Parcel 98, Pas de Calais, FRANCE (50.6831°N, 1.7207°E, altitude approximately 60 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genera Carpinus and Corylus) and Fagaceae (genus Quercus) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland pathside with a substrate of calcareous soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 31–45 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous yes; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre clay-buff; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 10 mm; number of complete lamellae 50; tears absent; white fimbriate edge absent.
Stipe: 66–90 x 5–9 {median} x 5–9 {basal} mm; stipe Q 10.0–13.2; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 24.1; smell sacchariolentia, sweet; taste not recorded.
Spore deposit colour: analysis not yet complete.
Exsiccata: normal.

Basidia: 26.3–29.2 x 7.2–8.7 μm; ave. Q = 3.4; basidia spore nature not recorded.
Cheilocystidia: main shape balloon-shaped, gently clavate, cylindrical; special features irregular, septa, sparse; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.49; A/B = 1.80; B/M = 0.84.
Pleurocystidia: no.
Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 70 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 9 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid up to 30 μm wide.
Caulocystidia: analysis not yet complete.
