    Collection 13396 was collected by G. Mir on 7th December 2009 in Es Trenc, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, SPAIN (approx. 39.3188°N, 2.9985°E, altitude approximately 5 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Pinus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coniferous, Mediterranean woodland with a substrate of calcareous, sandy soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code BSk (Arid, steppe, cold).

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 2 mm; number of complete lamellae 64; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 49 x 6 {median} x 8 {basal} mm; stipe Q 8.2; base clavate; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 12.9; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.
