Collection 13384 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 5th December 2009 in Coves de Campanet, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, SPAIN (39.8051°N, 2.9614°E, altitude approximately 75 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Quercus) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous, Mediterranean woodland with a substrate of calcareous soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 24–42 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters sulcate; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre warm buff; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 4 mm; number of complete lamellae 78; tears visible with x10 lens; white fimbriate edge present.
Stipe: 34–54 x 6–8 {median} x 7–10 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.9–7.7; base bulbous, cylindrical; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, superior wick; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 9.4; smell cocoa, raphanoid; taste not recorded.
Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.
Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.

Basidia: 29.0–30.6 x 7.1–8.0 μm; ave. Q = 4.0; basidia spore nature not recorded.
Cheilocystidia: main shape cylindrical, lageniform, ventricose; special features bifurcate, clamped septa, geniculate, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.04; A/B = 0.74; B/M = 1.42.
Pleurocystidia: no.
Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 160 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid, isodiametric, thickly sausage-shaped up to 17 μm wide.
Caulocystidia: analysis not yet complete.
