Collection 10868 (herbarium acc. no. C JV-97-250) is Hebeloma monticola.

    Collection 10868 was collected by J. Vesterholt (97-250) on 7th September 1997 in Jamtland, Lockne W Ange,3km W of Tundby Raliway Station, SWEDEN (approx. 62.98°N, 14.8°E, altitude approximately 365 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as boreal, mixed woodland streamside with a substrate of boggy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Basidia: 21.4–28.3 x 8.9–9.6 μm; ave. Q = 2.6; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lageniform, ventricose; special features basal thickening, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.04; A/B = 0.52; B/M = 2.10.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 60 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation no; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis thinly sausage-shaped.
