    Collection 19959 was collected by N. Siegel (4683) on 6th December 2019 in South Fork Smith River, Rock Creek Camp, Del Norte Co., California, UNITED STATES (approx. 41.7329°N, 123.9801°W, altitude approximately 140 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Pinaceae (genus Pseudotsuga) and Fagaceae (genera Notholithocarpus and Quercus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.

    Stipe: 36–58 x 5–11 {median} x 5–11 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.3–7.2; base cylindrical; floccosity pruinose at apex; rooting yes; mycelial chords yes.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 9.3; smell none; taste mild.
