    Collection 18843 was collected by N. Siegel (3462) on 18th December 2018 in Davison Rd, mp. 3.4, Redwood National Park, California, UNITED STATES (approx. 41.3357°N, 124.0552°W, altitude approximately 135 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genera Picea and Tsuga) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape cylindrical; special features irregular, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 0.96; A/B = 0.96; B/M = 1.02.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 200 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, thickly sausage-shaped up to 14 μm wide.
