    Collection 17011 was collected by E. Matthews on 25th January 2017 in Between McKinleyville and Fieldbrook, Humboldt County, California, UNITED STATES (approx. 40.9574°N, 124.0746°W, altitude approximately 160 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded with a substrate of cadaveric soil.
