    Collection 17913 was collected by C. Cripps, H.J. Beker, N. Siegel, K. Mohatt on 20th August 2018 in Glen Alps trailhead, Flattop Trail, near Anchorage, Alaska, UNITED STATES (61.0993°N, 149.6797°W, altitude approximately 755 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Salicaceae (genus Salix) and Rosaceae (genus Dryas) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as alpine meadow with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
