    Collection 17910 was collected by C. Cripps, H.J. Beker, N. Siegel, K. Mohatt on 20th August 2018 in Glen Alps trailhead, Flattop Trail, near Anchorage, Alaska, UNITED STATES (61.0989°N, 149.678°W, altitude approximately 740 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Salicaceae (genus Salix), Ericaceae (genus Arctostaphylos) and Betulaceae (genus Alnus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as alpine meadow with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 30–45 mm diameter; shape umbonate weakly; margin characters overhanging pileus; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting yes; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre cream; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 7 mm; number of complete lamellae 70; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 30–40 x 6–8 {median} x 6–8 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.0; base cylindrical; floccosity pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 4.7; smell raphanoid weakly; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.
