    Collection 17820 was collected by R.L. Pastorino, det: N. Siegel (2530) on 1st December 2017 in Caspar, California, UNITED STATES (approx. 39.36°N, 123.816°W, altitude approximately 10 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
