Collection 16355 was collected by P. Kroeger, B. Kendrick, C. Kendrick, J. Brown, det: O. Ceska on 27th November 2013 in Victoria, Saanich Peninsula, Observatory Hill; along the paved road, just above the main gate, British Columbia, CANADA (approx. 48.522°N, 123.415°W, altitude approximately 160 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.
The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded with a substrate of mossy, sandy soil and litter.

Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 38; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.
Stipe: 45 x 5 {median} x 6 {basal} mm; stipe Q 9.0; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 17.6; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.
