    Collection 17219 was collected by A. Cappelli, det: E. Grilli (111203.01) on 3rd December 2011 in Saronno (VA), Lombardy, ITALY (45.6378°N, 9.05°E, altitude approximately 220 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Betulaceae (genus Carpinus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous parkland with a substrate of soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
