    Collection 16718 was collected by M. Carbone, det: E. Grilli (071104.01) on 4th November 2007 in Deiva Marina, Liguria, ITALY (44.2525°N, 9.5479°E, altitude approximately 495 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Fagaceae (genus Quercus) and Ericaceae (genus Arbutus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
