    Collection 14644 was collected by M.L. Beker, H.J. Beker on 21st August 2015 in Kolyuchin Island, Beringia National Park, Chukotka, RUSSIAN FEDERATION (67.4788°N, 174.6391°W, altitude approximately 50 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code ET (Polar, tundra).

    Pileus: 16–27 mm diameter; shape convex, umbonate broadly; margin characters smooth, wavy; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre dark brick; and colour at margin clay-buff; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 31; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 15–22 x 5–8 {median} x 4–7 {basal} mm; stipe Q 1.9–4.4; base cylindrical, tapering; floccosity fibrillose, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 3.1; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Basidia: 30.1–35.0 x 8.5–9.5 μm; ave. Q = 3.7; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lageniform, ventricose; special features septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.07; A/B = 0.62; B/M = 1.73.

    Pleurocystidia: no.
