Collection 14316 was collected by J. May on 21st August 2008 in Battle Harbour, Labrador, Newfoundland and Labrador, CANADA (approx. 52.2751°N, 55.5888°W, altitude approximately 15 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.
The surrounding habitat was described as arctic tundra, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code Dfc (Cold, no dry season, cold summer).
