Collection 10866 (herbarium acc. no. C JV-93-506) is Hebeloma minus.

    Collection 10866 was collected by J. Vesterholt (93-506) on 6th August 1993 in Nordur-Mulasysla: Hrafnabjorg, road to Jokladalur, ICELAND (approx. 65.5264°N, 14.5565°W, altitude approximately 110 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as arctic heathland, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     According to the GPS data the collection was in the Iceland boreal birch forests and alpine tundra WWF ecoregion The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) have divided the world into 867 terrestrial ecoregions.
