Collection 13685 was collected by H.J. Beker, M.L. Beker on 8th October 2010 in Abbaye de la Bussiere, La Bussiere-sur-Ouche, 21360 Dijon, Côte-d'Or, FRANCE (47.216°N, 4.7208°E, altitude approximately 305 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Betulaceae (genus Carpinus) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as mixed parkland with a substrate of calcareous, grassy soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: 30–48 mm diameter; shape umbonate strongly; margin characters involute, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin dark pinkish buff, clay-buff, pale pinkish buff, pinkish buff; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 6 mm; number of complete lamellae 56; tears visible with x10 lens; white fimbriate edge present.
Stipe: 35–44 x 6–9 {median} x 6–12 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.7–7.0; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 5.8; smell none; taste not recorded.
Spore deposit colour: sepia.
Exsiccata: normal.

Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 220 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid, thickly sausage-shaped up to 20 μm wide.
Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 150 μm.
