    Collection 13096 was collected by G. Corriol on 24th August 2009 in Lac Verney, Aosta Valley, ITALY (approx. 45.6882°N, 6.8824°E, altitude approximately 2090 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as alpine meadow with a substrate of calcareous soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 18–27 mm diameter; shape umbonate broadly; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre cream; and colour at margin pale yellow; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 69; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 22–23 x 5–7 {median} x 8–11 {basal} mm; stipe Q 3.1–3.8; base clavate; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 3.7; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Basidia: 27.8–34.7 x 7.5–8.2 μm; ave. Q = 4.0; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape capitate-stipitate, clavate-stipitate, spathulate-stipitate; special features sinuate; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 2.74; A/B = 2.56; B/M = 1.10.
