    Collection 11846 was collected by H. Hallgrímsson (11048), det: J. Vesterholt on 23rd July 1987 in Egilsstadir, Herai, Au, ICELAND (approx. 65.2669°N, 14.3948°W, altitude approximately 30 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.
