    Collection 11844 was collected by T. von Bonsdorff (TVB06-1A) on 19th September 2006 in Satakunta, Merikarvia Municipality, Peippu, Kantolan laitumet, FINLAND (approx. 61.81°N, 21.54°E, altitude approximately 50 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula), Pinaceae (genus Picea) and Salicaceae (genus Populus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as woodland with a substrate of clayey, grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code Dfc (Cold, no dry season, cold summer).
