Collection 1000093 was collected by P.D. Orton on 25th September 1955 in Loch Loy, Morayshire, SCOTLAND (approx. 57.58°N, 3.85°W, altitude approximately 10 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula) and Salicaceae (genus Salix) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as boreal, mixed woodland, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
