    Collection 17921 was collected by N. Siegel (3085) on 21st August 2018 in Quartz Creek, Cooper's landing, Kenai, Alaska, UNITED STATES (approx. 60.5433°N, 149.6152°W, altitude approximately 250 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Salicaceae (genus Populus), Pinaceae (genus Picea) and Betulaceae (genus Betula) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.

    Stipe: 43–45 x 9–13 {median} x 12–13 {basal} mm; stipe Q 3.5–4.8; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity floccose at apex, velute; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 6.0; smell not recorded; taste not recorded.
