    Collection 16516 was collected by E. Bizio (20130921), det: E. Bizio, E. Grilli (EG-130921.01) on 21st September 2016 in Bellamonte, Predazzo , Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, ITALY (46.3091°N, 11.6751°E, altitude approximately 1440 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Picea) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coniferous, subalpine woodland with a substrate of acidic, grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Stipe: 35–80 x 2–4 {median} x 3–5 {basal} mm; stipe Q 17.5–20.0; base clavate; floccosity fibrillose, pruinose at apex; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 35.3; smell none; taste not recorded.
