    Collection 14252 was collected by H.J. Beker on 19th November 2013 in Foret d"aitone, Corsica, FRANCE (42.2723°N, 8.8448°E, altitude approximately 1170 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Pinus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coniferous woodland with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 40 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters involute, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre umber; and colour at margin yellowish brown; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 90; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 35 x 13 {median} x 13 {basal} mm; stipe Q 2.7; base cylindrical; floccosity floccose weak; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 2.4; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: dark, hard.
