    Collection 13089 was collected by L. Davies on 23rd August 2009 in Lac des assiettes, Haute Savoie, FRANCE (45.39°N, 6.7853°E, altitude approximately 2480 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as alpine meadow with a substrate of calcareous soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 15 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre sepia; and colour at margin yellowish brown; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 4 mm; number of complete lamellae 32; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 17 x 2 {median} x 2 {basal} mm; stipe Q 8.5; base cylindrical; floccosity fibrillose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 9.6; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spores: shape amygdaloid, limoniform, ovoid; colour through microscope brown; guttulate yes; papillate yes; Spore Code: O1; O2; P0; D3.

    Basidia: 30.0–31.5 x 8.2–8.7 μm; ave. Q = 3.6; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape lageniform, ventricose; special features not recorded; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.04; A/B = 0.55; B/M = 1.97.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 30 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis thickly sausage-shaped up to 14 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 75 μm.
