Collection 12717 was collected by V. Antonin on 10th October 2008 in LPA Moravian Karst, NNR Vyvery Punkvy, Moravia, CZECH REPUBLIC (49.3729°N, 16.7282°E, altitude approximately 485 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Fagus) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as mixed but mainly deciduous woodland with a substrate of calcareous soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: up to 31 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters involute, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre dark pinkish buff; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 62; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge very strong.
Stipe: 45 x 8 {median} x 12 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.6; base clavate; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 8.2; smell none; taste not recorded.
Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.
Exsiccata: pale.

Basidia: 27.3–31.2 x 7.2–7.5 μm; ave. Q = 3.9; basidia spore nature not recorded.
Cheilocystidia: main shape gently clavate, clavate-stipitate, clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose; special features bifurcate, long; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.79; A/B = 2.08; B/M = 0.89.
Pleurocystidia: no.
Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 175 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid, thickly sausage-shaped up to 20 μm wide.
Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 75 μm.
