Collection 10650 (herbarium acc. no. C JV-03-585) is Hebeloma nauseosum.

    Collection 10650 was collected by J. Vesterholt (03-585) on 3rd October 2003 in Toscana, prov. Arezzo, comm Sestino, Casale., Tuscany, ITALY (approx. 43.72°N, 12.33°E, altitude approximately 600 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Fagaceae (genus Quercus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded with a substrate of calcareous soil.

    According to the GPS data the collection was in the Italian sclerophyllous and semi-deciduous forests WWF ecoregion The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) have divided the world into 867 terrestrial ecoregions.     Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 44; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 30 x 6 {median} x 10 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.0; base clavate, subbulbous; floccosity pruinose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 5.8; smell sacchariolentia, sweet; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: analysis not yet complete.

    Exsiccata: normal.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 100 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 4 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation no; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis thickly sausage-shaped.
