    Collection 9382 was collected by C.E. Aaron, det: H.J. Beker on 22nd October 2002 in Cors Erd, Anglesey, WALES (53.3056°N, 4.2962°W, altitude approximately 0 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Betulaceae (genus Betula) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed dune woodland, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Lamellae: attachment free; maximum depth not recorded; number of complete lamellae 40; tears absent; white fimbriate edge absent.

    Stipe: 35–40 x 2–3 {median} x 2–3 {basal} mm; stipe Q 13.3–17.5; base clavate; floccosity not recorded; rooting no; mycelial chords not recorded.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 21.2; smell sacchariolentia, sweet; taste not recorded.

    Exsiccata: pileus blackening.
