    Collection 19478 was collected by D. Lewis (DPL12781) on 29th December 2017 in Bleakwood-Smith property near Screwpin Branch Creek, Texas, UNITED STATES (approx. 30.7095°N, 93.8262°W, altitude approximately 40 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland streamside with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 58; tears absent; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 46–70 x 5–6 {median} x 5–7 {basal} mm; stipe Q 7.7–14.0; base cylindrical, tapering; floccosity fibrillose, pruinose at apex; rooting yes; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 20.5; smell not recorded; taste not recorded.

    Basidia: 27.3–32.3 x 7.4–8.4 μm; ave. Q = 3.8; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape cylindrical, ventricose; special features not recorded; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.05; A/B = 0.82; B/M = 1.29.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 400 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, thickly sausage-shaped up to 14 μm wide.
