    Collection 18247 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 25th September 2018 in Prudhomme lake, near Prince Rupert, British Columbia, CANADA (54.2403°N, 130.1343°W, altitude approximately 35 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Tsuga) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coniferous woodland pathside with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: up to 49 mm diameter; shape umbonate strongly; margin characters scalloped; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre pale pinkish buff; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil yes.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 5 mm; number of complete lamellae 74; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 53 x 9 {median} x 15 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.9; base clavate; floccosity pruinose at apex; rooting not recorded; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior not recorded; stipe flesh discolouring from base yes; slenderness measure 6.4; smell none; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.

    Spores: shape amygdaloid; colour through microscope yellow brown; guttulate yes; papillate no; Spore Code: O2; O3; P1; P2; D3.

    Basidia: 24.4–29.7 x 6.8–7.1 μm; ave. Q = 3.9; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape cylindrical; special features bifurcate, branching; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.13; A/B = 1.13; B/M = 1.03.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 190 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation no; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, thickly sausage-shaped up to 10 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 70 μm.
