    Collection 14308 was collected by A. Voitk (08.09.24.av03) on 24th September 2008 in GMNP Stanleyville Trail, Newfoundland and Labrador, CANADA (approx. 49.465°N, 57.7704°W, altitude approximately 65 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula) and Pinaceae (genera Larix, Picea and Abies) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mixed woodland with a substrate of mossy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code Dfb (Cold, no dry season, warm summer).

    Basidia: 26.0–31.0 x 6.6–7.6 μm; ave. Q = 4.1; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape cylindrical; special features septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.12; A/B = 1.14; B/M = 0.98.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 120 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation no; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis cylindrical, thickly sausage-shaped up to 11 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 75 μm.
