Collection 16630 was collected by T. Borgen (16.075) on 7th August 2016 in Kangerlussuaq, Sandflugtsdalen, W, GREENLAND (approx. 67.1277°N, 51.1645°W, altitude approximately 50 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as arctic dune riverside with a substrate of boggy, sandy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
