    Collection 15691 was collected by E. Brugaletta (20151219-02), det: EG (EG-151219.01) on 19th December 2015 in Pineta di Vittoria, Contrada Tremolazze, Ragusa, Sicily, ITALY (approx. 36.914°N, 14.624°E, altitude approximately 500 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Cistaceae (genus Cistus), Fagaceae (genus Quercus) and Pinaceae (genus Pinus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as maquis with a substrate of soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 27–35 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters crenulate, involute, smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous not recorded; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre not recorded; and colour at margin pale pinkish buff; with remains of universal veil not recorded.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 4 mm; number of complete lamellae 68; tears absent; white fimbriate edge weak.

    Stipe: 34–50 x 7–8 {median} x 7–9 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.9–6.3; base clavate, cylindrical, tapering; floccosity fibrillose, floccose at apex; rooting yes; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 7.5; smell none; taste mild.
