    Collection 13409 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 8th December 2009 in Formentor, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, SPAIN (39.9317°N, 3.1353°E, altitude approximately 15 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Cistaceae (genus Cistus) and Fagaceae (genus Quercus) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as Mediterranean, mixed woodland with a substrate of calcareous, sandy soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 44–55 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre cinnamon; and colour at margin pale yellow; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 7 mm; number of complete lamellae 110; tears visible with x10 lens; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 63–73 x 7–13 {median} x 7–13 {basal} mm; stipe Q 5.6–9.0; base cylindrical; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base weak; slenderness measure 10.2; smell none; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: normal.

    Spores: shape amygdaloid; colour through microscope brown; guttulate yes; papillate no; Spore Code: O2; P1; D3.

    Basidia: 28.4–30.3 x 7.7–7.8 μm; ave. Q = 3.8; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape cylindrical; special features branching, clamped septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.14; A/B = 1.08; B/M = 1.06.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 150 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid, isodiametric, thickly sausage-shaped up to 20 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 150 μm.
