    Collection 13664 was collected by H.J. Beker on 6th October 2010 in via Boleto, Castagneto da frutto, Carvasca, Piedmont, ITALY (44.3826°N, 7.4583°E, altitude approximately 585 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Populus) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous garden with a substrate of grassy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 16–19 mm diameter; shape convex; margin characters scalloped; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin pinkish buff; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 3 mm; number of complete lamellae 30; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge not recorded.

    Stipe: 30–45 x 2 {median} x 2 {basal} mm; stipe Q 15.0–18.0; base cylindrical; floccosity pruinose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior stuffed; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 35.4; smell none; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: normal.

    Basidia: 28.7–37.9 x 7.5–8.7 μm; ave. Q = 4.1; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape clavate-lageniform or clavate-ventricose; special features apical thickening, large, rostrate, septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.55; A/B = 1.00; B/M = 1.61.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 100 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis thickly sausage-shaped up to 35 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 120 μm.
