    Collection 13589 was collected by D. Laber on 16th September 2010 in Lake Windgfullweiher, Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY (47.8482°N, 8.1241°E, altitude approximately 975 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula) and Pinaceae (genus Picea) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coniferous, subalpine woodland with a substrate of acidic, boggy, mossy soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     Pileus: 50–52 mm diameter; shape umbonate; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation unicolor; with colour at centre yellowish brown; and colour at margin not recorded; with remains of universal veil no.

    Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 4 mm; number of complete lamellae 65; tears visible with naked eye; white fimbriate edge present.

    Stipe: 76–82 x 7–9 {median} x 13–18 {basal} mm; stipe Q 9.1–10.9; base bulbous; floccosity velute; rooting no; mycelial chords no.

    Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow, superior wick; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 15.3; smell raphanoid; taste not recorded.

    Spore deposit colour: brownish olive.

    Exsiccata: analysis not yet complete.

    Spores: shape amygdaloid; colour through microscope brown; guttulate yes; papillate no; Spore Code: O1; O2; P0; D3; D4.

    Basidia: 26.7–30.2 x 7.4–8.4 μm; ave. Q = 3.7; basidia spore nature not recorded.

    Cheilocystidia: main shape gently clavate, lageniform, ventricose; special features septa; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.27; A/B = 1.04; B/M = 1.30.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 180 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 6 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid, thickly sausage-shaped up to 18 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 100 μm.
