Collection 13397 was collected by H.J. Beker, L. Davies on 8th December 2009 in Formentor, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, SPAIN (39.9318°N, 3.1357°E, altitude approximately 40 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Pinaceae (genus Pinus) and Fagaceae (genus Quercus) were present.
The surrounding habitat was described as Mediterranean, mixed woodland with a substrate of calcareous, sandy soil and litter, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules. Pileus: up to 27 mm diameter; shape umbonate weakly; margin characters smooth; viscosity tacky when moist; spotting no; hygrophanous no; colour variation two-colour; with colour at centre cinnamon; and colour at margin pale cream; with remains of universal veil no.
Lamellae: attachment emarginate; maximum depth up to 2 mm; number of complete lamellae 48; tears absent; white fimbriate edge not recorded.
Stipe: 30 x 6 {median} x 6 {basal} mm; stipe Q 4.6; base clavate, cylindrical; floccosity floccose; rooting no; mycelial chords no.
Context: texture firm; stipe interior hollow; stipe flesh discolouring from base no; slenderness measure 5.1; smell none; taste not recorded.
