Collection 12330 (herbarium acc. no. C JV-08-386) is Hebeloma erebium.

    Collection 12330 was collected by J. Vesterholt (08-386) on 24th September 2008 in Hanikatsi Island S of Hiiumaa, ESTONIA (58.7719°N, 23.0465°E, altitude approximately 20 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal families Betulaceae (genus Betula), Fagaceae (genus Quercus), Salicaceae (genus Salix) and Malvaceae (genus Tilia) were present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as deciduous woodland with a substrate of calcareous soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
