Collection 1000450 (herbarium acc. no. TENN-F-013890) is Hebeloma subaustrale. It is the holotype of heterotypic synonym Hebeloma perangustisporium Hesler (1977).Description

Collection 1000450 was collected by L.R. Hesler (LRH13890) on 29th July 1941 in Gatlinburg, GSMNP, [Great Smoky Mountains National Park], Indian Gap, Tennessee, UNITED STATES (approx. 35.6108°N, 83.4386°W, altitude approximately 1650 m above sea level - Google maps). No ectomycorrhizal plants were recorded.
The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.
