Collection 1000046 was collected by A.H. Smith on 7th October 1936 in Saginaw Forest, Ann Arbor, Michigan, UNITED STATES (approx. 42.27°N, 83.8°W, altitude approximately 280 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Pinaceae (genus Picea) was present.
The surrounding habitat was described as not recorded.
