    Collection 9819 was collected by A. Andrews, det: H.J. Beker on 21st August 2002 in Orkney, SCOTLAND (approx. 59°N, 3°W, altitude approximately 0 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as coastal dune with a substrate of sandy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.     According to the GPS data the collection was in the Koppen climate code Cfb (Temperate, no dry season, warm summer).

    Cheilocystidia: main shape capitate-stipitate, clavate; special features median thickening, sinuate; Cheilocystidia Ratios: A/M = 1.80; A/B = 1.84; B/M = 0.99.

    Pleurocystidia: no.

    Ixocutis: epicutis thickness (measured from exsiccata) 175 μm; ixocutis maximum hyphae width 5 μm; ixocutis hyphae encrustation yes; shape of trama elements beneath subcutis ellipsoid, thickly sausage-shaped up to 12 μm wide.

    Caulocystidia: caulocystidia maximum length 85 μm.
