    Collection 18566 was collected by C.E. Aron (CEA-3384) on 12th October 2011 in Shell Island, near Harlech, Gwynedd, WALES (approx. 52.8191°N, 4.1427°W, altitude approximately 10 m above sea level - Google maps). The ectomycorrhizal family Salicaceae (genus Salix) was present.

    The surrounding habitat was described as mobile dune with a substrate of sandy soil, corresponding to the IUCN habitat We map from the collector's description of the habitat to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)'s definition using a standardised set of rules.
